Danger at every turn, a romance with a man fighting his own war, and a team you just want as your big brothers...this book is so good! I had to stop and just breathe at times to take it all in! Tox and Haven...be still my heart!

This series really should be read in order for the full effect of Tox and Wraith team missions in The Tox Files....

The ending is stunning and yet had me hoping the next book would be out like tomorrow! I was given an ARC copy for my honest opinion and I honestly love and recommend this novel. Kendig brings a powerhouse of history, modern day mystery, thriller, romance, intrigue, adventure, and action in this book. She has so much woven in this series, it will leave you wanting more!

I am a big fan of Rogue Kendig boojs, and I was pretty sure she connection the first book in this series. But let me tell you folks, she did it! This time Fix and His team and Haven indications others interact with another artifact that must be recovered and banished. This time his is one of Tox's old friends who must be stopped before he takes vengeance to reflexes of madness. Hints about Ti, and the father of Ram and His sister surface hopefully guaranteeing another novel. Eagerly awaiting it!!
OMG! This is a page turning adventure. A thrilling page turner. You better not pick this book up at night unless you plan on not sleeping. Ronie Kendig captures you from the first page. Your heart aches for each team member of Wraith who are struggling to come to grips with where the line between good and evil lies. You feel like your right there with then, rooting for them and then having your heart broke right with them. Ronie Kendig has done it again. This is a must read for everyone!
A man with a past that he cannot forget or forgive himself for. An ancient artifact which can cause a person to do horrific things because they believe it is for the greater good.
Trying to stop a man he considered a friend and comrade, Cole faces an internal battle in which he believes that if Alec cannot be saved then there is no hope for him. Through the support of his team and the woman who loves him, Cole once again finds himself fighting a battle which started centuries before. The battle between good and evil.
Once you read this book, you will find yourself wanting to go back and start the series all over again! I know I did.
"You think he's redeemable," Savakis said with a grunt. "If he's not, then" - a breath staggered through Tox's chest - "neither am I."

This resonated with me as a main development in the book - Tox working through whether he is/was redeemable to God. If there is one person who is not redeemable, than none of us are redeemable. As Alec's character spirals further and further down the dark path of pursing the Crown of Souls, Tox is pulled in two directions - he is the same as Alec but has been exposed to the truth of the Gospel through Chiji and Haven.

Ronie Kendig has delivered a deep, intense novel that includes everything from action to romance, from Biblical history to current day events, from artifacts to technology. There is something for everyone in this series! Her attention to detail and character development is amazing - we learn more about Tox and his past beyond book #1 in the series (Conspiracy of Silence). We learn about what really happened to cause him to take the deal to protect his team and to disappear "dead" to his family and friends.

I absolutely loved this book and already can't wait to see what happens in her next book of the Tox Files.
In looking back at my reviews of Ronie Kendig’s books, I’m pretty sure that with each release, I’ve called it her best yet.

I don’t lie. And I’m saying it again today. Crown of Souls is her best work yet.

Kendig not only brings her signature rapid-fire action, but ties it so intricately and brilliantly with intrigue, supernatural happenings, and a tender thread of romance. To do all this takes extreme talent.

Cole “Tox” Russell fights his own demons while tracking down and trying to stop a brother-in-arms from using an ancient artifact to…well, you can read the book. And while Tox is fighting for the world, his girlfriend, Haven, is fighting for him. In the midst of all this, the secondary characters absolutely shine with fantastic one-liners, fierce loyalty, and some mystery of their own.

Tight writing, stellar pacing, and great editing make this book a must-read (and must-own-for-your-bookshelf)! This is for sure a 5-star book. Please. I beg of you. If you’ve never read any of Ronie Kendig’s work, please, please, please start. I don’t believe, for one second, that you’d be sorry.

Crown of Souls is the second novel in The Tox Files, but there is a prequel novella that starts the series off with a bang, and it’s free!
