I was so excited to read this new to me author, Katie Kenyhercz, and I'm so glad I did! From the first page I was engrossed in Miranda and Ben's story. I love that Miranda is wanting to prove that the Lady Sinners, the hockey team's cheerleaders, are more than what the fans of the team consider "puck bunnies". Ben is trying to find his way back to hockey after an injury from the last season left him paralyzed. Circumstances throw the two together and they SIZZLE. I absolutely loved the pair together and how they leap off the pages.
This was a great hockey romance. If you enjoy a brooding hockey player and a super smart, funny protagonist I highly recommend checking out Vegas Baby.

So glad I took a chance on this book. I was hesitant because it was girls, but there is a whole side of it you never expect. Miranda is so positive and uplifting but not annoying! It refreshing! Ben is wounded and needs her to see the bright side of things! I enjoyed this book!
This is the first book I've read by Katie Kenyhercz and I guarantee it won't be my last. She has gained herself a reader. I loved the characters in this book. One of my favorite things is watching Miranda bring light in Ben's life. Ben is pretty much at his lowest point. Then his life takes an unexpected turn once Miranda comes into it. He better buckle up because it's going to be a bumpy ride, but one well worth it. I also enjoyed the Disney and Harry Potter references through out the book. Miranda is an admirable character. She's been through the ringer, but she's still has a sunshine, positive attitude. I loved that the Lady Sinners dance team forms a hockey team in a community league. It was great watching those ladies break out and prove people wrong. Though there are plenty of upbeat moments it also has it's heartfelt moments as well. I thought it was a well rounded book that has left me wanting more from the series.
Really liked this book. I'm looking forward to much more in the series and hope we see these two again. Great job Katie!!!
I love how Miranda helps Ben by making it seem like no big deal. I really identify with how she wanted to to be there for him.
Loved this book. Both male and female characters were strong but needed each other to be whole. I liked the story line and it was believable. I also loved that it had a female hockey team in it with strong players who strived to be better and be role models for others.
It's no secret I enjoy Katie's hockey romances. But Vegas Baby is the first one that made me cry. Maybe cause I have a thing for grumpy guys with soft gooey centers and Colly is definitely a prickly bear. But he's also a wounded one and like Miranda I wanted to make him smile.
I'm a big fan of Katie Kenyhercz, and I've been waiting for what feels like a long time for the first Lady Sinners book to come out. It was well worth the wait.
We've already met most of the characters in the Las Vegas Sinners series, which is another great series by this author. It was so great to see Miranda and Ben learn more about each other, and themselves, and how they each need to go about getting what they want. They have lots of chemistry and their banter and interactions were realistic and genuine.
This book was sweet, well-written, and just so much fun. Ms. Kenyhercz also gave us just enough that we already have our eyes on various supporting characters for future books. I can't wait to read what's next!
